Rating: - * I enjoy the massage, but the chair is not all that comfortable. The motor is a little loud as well. I wouldn't buy it again, but it will do for now. Rating: - * Comfort Products is a joke. I have phoned (800) 971-4630 many times over the past few weeks. They provide an option for consumer customer support. After phoning the number you press 2, then 2 a second time for consumer information. The line clicks dead each and every time. If you select option 1 for dealers you can get through. They will attempt to transfer you. You might even be able to leave a message for an Andrew. You will NEVER get a call back. That's NEVER. The controls on my chair are intermittently failing. The chair is almost new. I would never buy anything again with the brand name Comfort Products. Buy it and you're on your own. JM Rating: - * I leaned back in the chair & the leg snapped!!! I fell to the floor & was injured! My back & elbow were bruised & I haven't even received a call back from the company. They promised me a new chair with a metal base but 3 weeks have passed & NOTHING! So be careful, I wouldnt want anyone getting seriously injured from this chair. Rating: - * My view: Let's just say I purchased a "fake" fish tank that is operated by a medium-sized motor from the Dollar Store over 3 years ago. The motor generates little bubbles inside the tank. This motor has been running 95% of the time that I've had it (5% attributed to moving, as it was not plugged in during a move). This little motor is still humming perfectly right now. Unfortunately, I purchased this Select Comfort Product almost 6 months ago. I have used the massage motor 20% of the time that I've had the chair. I have followed instructions and charged the battery as instructed. Needless to say my chair motor has gone "bye-bye" and now I will have to either go through customer service to get a replacement battery or attempt to get someone qualified person to fix the issue. If I could have seen the future I would NOT have purchased this product. If you still want this $112.00 loss, you'd be better off buying it in-store, i.e. Office Depot, Office Max, Comp USA etc. so you can attempt to raise "hell" in person instead of over the phone when your chair breaks down. Rating: - * I think the chair is a good value for the money, but when the battery charger was missing from the box, I called Comfort Products at 1-800-971-4630 (from the instructions) to get the charger sent to me. It is nearly impossible to speak to someone -- they want you just to leave your name and number and they will call you back (NOT!!!). During the last month, I've made four phone calls on four different dates and have spoken to two people -- a customer service rep for retailers and the credit manager. Guess what -- no response, no call-back, no charger. If you open the box and find there's no charger, TAKE IT BACK! You won't ever know if the massager works or not because you won't be able to get the charger. |
